My name is Matthew Tighe Howey and I'm a professional photographer from Philadelphia, PA. I went to Antonelli Institute for Photography and have been working as a freelance photographer for the past ten years.

Born in Philadelphia I grew up the youngest in a house full of music and art. Where there was a lot of influence from my older sisters and parents. At the age the age of ten I got my first guitar  and have been playing and writing music ever since. Making music was my way of understainding and interpreting the world.

I take pictures like I play music, keeping time and framing the moment. With music I never play a song the same way twice always looking for a different take, It's the same with photography.
